Discover the Heart Behind Your Healing Journey

At the SSP Wellness Center, our expertise and compassionate co-regulation create a safe space for you to thrive and become your best, healthiest self.

about Us

Led by Trever and Emma Clark, the SSP Wellness Center is committed to making sure SSP works for you—no matter how sensitive or complex your case may be. We believe almost anyone can benefit from the program when it’s taken slowly, and that’s why we specialize in “microdosing” SSP. By carefully pacing your sessions to match your nervous system’s needs, you can experience deeper, longer-lasting results.

We’re not typical practitioners with a one-size-fits-all approach. As health coaches, we understand that everything matters, and your path to healing is as unique as you are. That’s why we can also recommend complementary therapies and additional resources to support your SSP journey when needed.

And having been through this process ourselves—multiple timeswe know how crucial it is to feel supported and connected. That’s why we’ve made sure that when you need us, we’re here.

About You

You just want to wake up feeling good and be able to handle everyday life with ease—at home, work, and in social situations.

You’re sick of the revolving carousel of symptoms no doctor can explain. You’re tired of being told it’s just in your head, and “your test results look fine”. You KNOW you don’t feel fine.

You’ve tried every diet, supplement, and detox out there. You’ve been to chiropractors, osteopaths, kinesiologists, energy healers, and countless therapists. Sure, you’ve found some relief, but it never lasts.

You've spent a lot of money on treatments that only offer short-term fixes, leaving you feeling worse off both financially and health-wise.

What you might not have realized is that a well-regulated autonomic nervous system is the cornerstone of true health. Without addressing this fundamental aspect, you cannot thrive - and other therapies and treatments often fall short because your body doesn’t feel safe enough to receive them.

At the SSP Wellness Center, we understand that lasting change requires more than just treating symptoms or relying on temporary fixes. We focus on resetting your nervous system with SSP to create a solid foundation for enduring health and healing - and this also makes other healing approaches more effective and sustainable.

You + The SSP Wellness Center

Trying to feel “normal” shouldn’t be a daily struggle. At the SSP Wellness Center, our goal is to support you on your journey to a new, healthy normal. The version of you that you deserve to be.

In resetting your nervous system with the Safe and Sound Protocol we are able to go straight to the root of many chronic symptoms and stressors, shifting you out of the never-ending cycle of temporary fixes, and into a healthy state where you can truly thrive:

You Can Look Forward To:

  • A Regulated Nervous System: You’ll experience a nervous system that’s resilient and flexible, helping you handle stress and setbacks more easily.
  • A Strong Foundation: With a solid base of nervous system health, you’ll find yourself thriving in ways you never thought possible.
  • Relief From Chronic Symptoms: Chronic issues that have resisted other treatments may start to ease, providing you with much-needed relief.
  • Less Digestive DiscomfortYou might notice a reduction in digestive issues, making daily life more comfortable.
  • Easier Social Connections: Social interactions will feel smoother and more comfortable, with a stronger sense of safety and connection.
  • Better Results from Other Therapies: Other therapies, like EMDR, EFT, physical adjustments, etc. will become more effective as your body feel safer to accept them.
  • Reduced Sensory Sensitivities: Everyday triggers that once felt overwhelming will be less intense, helping you feel more at ease.
  • Calmer Mind: Anxiety and stress will be replaced by a lasting sense of calm and healthier coping strategies.

By resetting your nervous system, SSP helps you move beyond just managing your symptoms to truly thriving and enjoying a more balanced and “normal” life.

Meet the Core Team

We’re Trever and Emma Clark, the Transatlantic husband-and-wife duo behind the SSP Wellness Center.

Trever Clark

Cofounder & Certified SSP Practitioner

Trever is an American health coach and certified Unyte SSP provider with a passion for trauma healing and men's wellness. He’s got a BASc from Davenport University and specialized training in EMDR, polyvagal theory, and holistic counseling from The Vitalist Institute of Psychospiritual Transformation.

When he’s not helping clients, you can find him geeking out over the Dune Universe, indulging his love of cheese, or secretly jamming to Creed (yes, really). Oh, and he’s just a tad obsessed with all things tropical.

Emma Clark

Cofounder & Certified SSP Practitioner

Emma is a UK-born somatic coach with a specialist interest in food sensitivities and medically unexplained symptoms. She’s a Solent University grad with certifications in SSP, EMDR, EFT, and Reiki. Her multifaceted approach addresses both the physical, emotional and energetic aspects of healing, helping clients find balance and peace.

Emma is fascinated by mystical experiences and finds her happy place in the Mediterranean sunshine. When she’s not guiding clients, you’ll probably spot her hunting down the best ice cream in Majorca or belting out Bon Jovi classics.

Partners & Advisors

At the SSP Wellness Center, we know that everything matters. If you’re looking for extra support to complement your SSP journey, we can connect you with our panel of highly skilled coaches, licensed therapists, and registered practitioners, ready to offer additional guidance and comprehensive care whenever needed. Let’s meet them:

Alice Brown

Alice is a researcher in cognitive neuroscience and psychology with a master's in clinical and developmental neuropsychology.

Alice's passion lies in neurodevelopmental disorders, in particular the impact of neonatal brain injury on sensory processing disorders in childhood.

Outside of being a developmental neuropsychology genius, Alice has an unhealthy obsession with dinosaurs, Halloween and guilty pop pleasures from the 90’s.

How Alice can help:

Alice brings both professional expertise and personal experience in neurodevelopmental disorders. She offers one-to-one support for parents needing extra guidance to help their children navigate sensory processing difficulties, challenging behaviors, and co-regulation needs throughout the SSP process.

Mark has been a licensed psychotherapist and practitioner of various healing arts for 32 years.

He has master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology and Holistic Health Studies, additional training in trauma recovery and energy medicine (QiGong), and a graduate certificate in Spiritual Formation.

When not focused on offering transformative experiences for others, Mark enjoys nature-based
experiences, likes occasional surprises, and appreciates the life lessons
that he receives from his 10-year-old son.

How Mark can help:

With a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, Mark supports individuals in finding healing through personal growth, helping you become your best self during your SSP Journey.

Sarah Warren

Sarah is a Certified Clinical Somatic Educator, Registered Somatic Movement Educator, and author of the book The Pain Relief Secret.

Sarah helps people with chronic muscle and joint pain, sciatica, scoliosis, and other musculoskeletal conditions become pain-free by practicing Thomas Hanna’s groundbreaking method of Clinical Somatic Education.

In her free time, you can find Sarah trying to keep up with her 8-year-old daughter, playing ball with her German Shepherd Rex, and training for 5Ks.

How Sarah can help:

SSP makes the nervous system more receptive to physical therapies, and Sarah’s clinical somatic programs are the perfect complement. They can help to relieve chronic tension, improve posture and movement, and prevent recurring injuries and physical degeneration.
